About OASIS Ldn
We exist to know Jesus and make Him known in London. Planted in 2016 with a vision to be an oasis in the city, we're a church family pursuing God's presence, building authentic community and living generously.
MISSION STATEMENT (What we do now)
Our mission is to advance the Christian gospel in Newbury Park, London and beyond by teaching God's Word, nurturing faith and living out Jesus' command to love God and love our neighbour. We seek to build a Christ-centred community where people experience genuine fellowship, spiritual growth and the transforming power of God's love. Through worship, prayer, discipleship and service, we aim to equip believers to live ethically, follow biblical truth and reflect Jesus in everyday life.
VISION STATEMENT (Where we are heading)
Our vision is to see lives, families and communities transformed by the love of Christ. We desire to be a flourishing, Spirit-filled church that welcomes every person, strengthens the broken and reaches the lost with hope. We envision a united Tamil and English congregation growing in faith, serving with compassion and shining God's light across London, building a vibrant, multi-generational church rooted in biblical truth, love and community.
History
Planted in 2016 with a vision to be an oasis in the city. Since then, we've been gathering people from all walks of life to encounter Jesus and bring renewal to London.
STATEMENT OF FAITH (what do we believe in)
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God. For us and for our salvation, He came down from heaven, was incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and became fully human.
For our sake, He was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third day, He rose again in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life, who proceeds from the Father, and who with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Scriptures and continues to lead, empower, and transform the lives of believers today.
We believe in one holy, universal Church, the body of Christ, called to unity, worship, and mission.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.

Our little ones are loved, celebrated, and fed with the Word. Fun, interactive, and faith-filled activities help children grow in Jesus from an early age.
